EMR joins new global engineering network

We were delighted when automation giant, ABB, invited us to become an Authorised Value Provider (AVP).

ABB has invested many years in developing and launching the concept, aimed at improving operational efficiency in electric motor driven applications.

The requirements for membership are stringent. For a start, members need to have been in business for at least five years. We had to agree to invest in our sales and service engineers, our workshop and training facilities, as well as our stockholding.

We already had many years’ electric motor experience across our sales and service teams, and our staff have now completed the required AVP training modules via the ABB University.

They have been trained to spot energy saving opportunities when visiting clients, such as electric motors that can be operated more efficiently. And they will need to attend the University ongoing to make sure we continue to meet ABB’s exacting standards.

AVP members have already saved their clients between 20 and 70% off their energy bills and we look forward to helping you save money too.

Our MD, Chris Fletcher, picked up the AVP plaque at a press launch held at the Virgin Roof Garden in Kensington
