Our commitment has just been rewarded with accreditation from safecontractor – the leading third-party accreditation scheme.

The scheme recognises very high standards in health and safety management among UK contractors so it’s great news for us, and peace of mind for you. Although safecontractor is applicable to most sectors, it’s particularly relevant to food manufacture, as well as the retail and leisure sectors - all areas in which we have clients.

 John Kinge, technical director of safecontractor said, "Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove they have sound health and safety policies in place.  To get the accreditation, we had to go through a strict vetting process, which examined our health and safety procedures together with our track record for safe practice. Because we met the high standard required we are now included on a database, which is accessible online to registered users.

 Client organisations that sign up to the scheme can access the database to vet potential contractors before they even set foot on their site. Clients who sign up to the scheme agree to engage only those contractors who have received accreditation.

 Many major clients recognise the scheme and accept the safecontractor certificate as confirmation of competency.
