EMR Silverthorn supplied the high velocity fans and Variable Speed Drives for the latest installment of the Mission Impossible franchise; Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. The scene, where Tom Cruise is on the side of a cargo plane which is taking off, required fans to hit 107mph to make the close up shots, filmed at Warner Bros studios at Leavesden, as realistic as possible. EMR provided the fans to give Tom the closest thing to a real plane taking off for all the close-up shots. Think that's impressive? He filmed the wide shots himself, on the side of a real plane taking off!
